♦:Buddhism

Abstract. Buddhism is the mind of Asia, the Eastern, Mongoloid dominant classic civilization of mankind. We study its ages and evolution of its consciousness of the game of exist¡ence.

This post is dedicated to the God of Buddhism without the viral animetal-memes that infected it, destroying its base (cavalry dynasties, which rendered first inane in India, resurrecting the more corrupted versions of Hinduism, during the Jihad invasion; Mongoloid invasions in Buddhist China and musket radiation of Nobunaga in Japan).

As such it will be as all the other 7 posts of the Gods of ideal mankind, its purification through the texts of its highest masters, grouped on 3 ages as usual in the life of all Human Gods, whose life typically acquires plenitude through 3 resurrections/ages of the 800 year cycles, to come then to a waning extinction through the posterior ages, with increasing corruption by animetal go(l)d churches and inquisitions that inhibit the religion into a formal carcass of meaningless rituals. Yet for all those who understand in depth the wisdom of its prophets, any religion can be resurrected in the heart of the believers.

All religions are also the response of the wor(l)d to a new weapon of mass destruction of the 800 year cycle in alliance with a new form of go(l)d. So they are born in a specific 800 year cycle, in the case of Buddhism, as the response that happened in India to the invasion of the Aryan anthropomorphic mystifying fire Gods of the fetish metal cults of iron smiths and coin herders descending down the Kibher pass.

So the first age of Buddhism, birth and pure state happened during the coin cycle. Its reproductive expansion with its customary division on the purest ‘little vehicle’ and the more amenable to the masses with higher magic, earthly ex-votes (great vehicle) during the next cavalry cycle, when escaping the Jihad and Raj horse alliance of Hindi and Islam animetal corrupted warriors the religion reproduced away into the Mongoloid, organic cyclical culture, fusioning with old animist cultures (Japan), Taoist religions, keeping its highest purity in Indochina, where it had already seeded its pali canon.

It will then be the age of plenitude, reproduction and diversification of species, of which the Zen version that tried to purify the Bushido code of Japanese Samurais to tame death into ethics, is one of the most remarkable forms as shaper of the art and wor(l)ds of the classic Japanese culture that will last through the Edo period, till its corruption and extinction by American Animetals (perry invasion).

Thus we talk of the 3rd 800 year cycle of the existence of Buddha, in the plane sustained by its suffering believers, as its extinctive age, now dragged through the ages… in which the most resistant strains, isolated in the mountains of Tibet will have as it is customary in those 3rd ages the ‘book of death’ of the Tibetans and its magic forms of demons and study of the eviL side of humanity, agonising till today during the Gunpowder cycle.

As today, little remains of Buddhism in its highest forms, but as an agonistic religion of Nirvana=extinction is perhaps the best positioned to endure the extraordinary eviL against mankind its whealth and purpose of Metal-earth in satanic form.

In the next graphs from the post on the 7 Gods, the position of Buddha in time and space, within its ‘higher plane of existence’ as a ‘part of the supreme God of all us’ Humanity in space and time, aka History and its cycle of maximal form in the coin age:

RELIGIONS have evolved trying to understand the superorganisms of mankind in the western traditions albeit aborted in their understanding of the final social level of Humanity=God, by their ab=use of other humans with metal, as tribal religions, latter evolved into nationalisms. In the east however cultures tried to understand Gaia, the super organism of life (Buddhism, Hinduism) and beyond Tao, the game of yin and yang, information and motion that combine to create the infinite energy beings of reality. My translation of their principles to systems sciences and modern physics was the end of the road of human thought that fusion all sciences and religions, but it came too late to help a species obliterated mentally by its FMasters, informative networks and virtual childish ego-trips.

In the graph, the evolution of the concept of western and eastern gods in three scales of complexity till reaching the concept of Mankind as God of History and the GAME of the three arrows of time as the God of all Universal existences.

Diachronic and synchronic view. The 7 cultures of mankind – its relationship with the wave of history=God.

In the graph the 7 historic global cultures, studied in great detail in this web, coming from 7 geographical and social memetic messages of love and life (Australasia should be put on anglo-america after its conquest but I put it on its natural place as a real humanist world union will allow migration from the Indonesian region and margin of its different colonial English cultures and original water-oriented organic worlds), even if its animist, life-water oriented Gods are only found on the rainy museums of its Darwin reserves. Each of those cultures in space, through its diachronic response to the metal-earth in time, according to the eusocial messages of love of their prophets, have configured the ideal History of Mankind as a single species, with 7 geographical organs, mind of History, now in the process of entropy, erasing and dissolution of each of those Gods into individual enzymen attached to the ego-trips of the virtual reality as puppets of the metal-earth.  Buddhism was the final evolution of the Gods of the original cultures of mankind, the ‘life-water world of Indonesia’… Unfortunately it would be destroyed by 2 waves of animetal civilizations, the Hindi aryan warriors and the Islamic warriors allied as always agains the power of the world:

BUDDHISM – THE FIRST LIFE. THERAVADA BUDDHISM.

In the graph, the first Life cycle of Buddhism was the final evolution of the Gods of the original cultures of mankind, the ‘life-water world of Indonesia’… Unfortunately it would be destroyed by 2 waves of animetal civilizations, the Hindi Aryan warriors and the Islamic warriors allied as always against the power of the world:

Buddhism as all Gods of mankind lived 3 x 800 years ages, which correspond to its ‘pure seed’ (little vehicle), its reproductive wave (big vehicle) and its ‘3rd age (Lamaist Buddhism and his ‘Book of the dead’). We will further study the 1st pure age of Buddhism as the civilization of India during the coin cycle with its T/2 standing point of maximal expansion during Asoka age (graph, reproductive age) in ‘History in space Vol. III, Indonansia.

The moral emphasis of Buddhism & Confucianism.

In the same way Christianity first and then Islam must be seen as the attempt to purify the warrior doGs and Go(l)d cult(ure)s of Semite segregational animetal religions; Buddhism is the attempt to purify the Hindi animetal deformation of earlier Shiva-Vishnu Indian Neolithic cultures. As Confucianism would be in China.

Thus both Eastern religions change emphasis from the metaphysical description of the Universal game of exist¡ence to the mundane wor(l)d of mankind corrupted in the ethical value of the wor(l)d – studied from a linguistic perspective on the article of the ‘humind’. This meant in both cases to purify Indo-European cult(ure)s:

– To switch emphasis from ‘belief’ into reason, from myth into logic. That is an attempt as in all parallel processes of the Axial age to rise back the mind of man to a higher ‘cold’, ‘detached’ understanding of the game of existence, to ‘eliminate’ the Passions of selfish, inward emotions that disentangle man from the Universe (Buddhism) or society (Confucianism). The wrong order of the selfie part above the whole is clearly expressed in both cultures. The homo organicus matters more.

This implies that while faith matters, it is only a preliminary requirement for practicing a MORAL WAY – actions of empathy, love to life and the society matter more. So ‘reason’, and ‘moral action’, ads to beliefs in both religions. And finally Buddhism also denies authority when it breaks morality.

In this it is a superior form to Confucianism, which unable to defeat the lack of ‘Jen’ of the age of warrior states finally corrupted its mandates and accepted authority, reducing the work of the moral man to its smaller sphere.

It is worth to contrast this right view with the ‘homo bacteria’ animetal p.o.v. which will be revived by Protestant biblical cults and its capitalist view: Calvinist and Lutheran preachers will deny the need for action and rationality going back to emotion and faith in one self, atomizing God into its minimal particles, de facto killing him.

While Adam Smith will first write a treatise on morals in which he already put forward his thesis that ‘magically’, the lower ‘passions’ that rule man, its selfishness will become the moral good of the whole, prompting Keynes to affirm that, ‘Capitalism is the astounding belief that the wickedest of all actions performed by the wickedest of all people bring the common good’.

Buddhism thus denies the system of castes, as it will do Christianity and Islam against the racism of Judaism and Hindi animetal doGs. And it strengthens the moral resistance against an unjust world through both ‘actions’ and the overcoming of pain and fear of death through Nirvana; by denying the ego and its passions; becoming the anti-truth of the animetal modern culture of Aryan+Biblical origin. To eliminate both, 4 noble truths are taught:

-The cycle of life (time as always in cyclical) and death is ‘noble’; and its suffering is caused by individualism.

-Suffering is also the lack of control of passions; pleasure and power over man and Nature. Hence:

-Suffering ends with the end of ego and passions, which brings Nirvana…

-As action matters to reach that end of suffering 4 unfolds into the eightfold path; which aims as latter Islam with

its 5 mandates to regulate the 5 actions of existence, to entangle them with society and Nature outside, and within the lack of ego and passions within. So we can subdivide them according to pentalogic into:

S@: Right senses and thoughts – right view, right mindfulness, right concentration.

St: Right information – right speech, right intention.

ST: Right actions: right conduct; right effort

Ts: Right entropy: Right livelihood.

Finally all this is resumed in the superior position of the ST-golden mean path of exist¡ence and the superiority of empathy over self-love.

This implies a fundamental attitude entangled ‘in harmony’ to the fundamental property of the Universe, its moral laws, called ‘Dharmas’. Thus the mind of the Universe is reflected in the smaller mind of man. This entanglement is vital NOT abstract, reason why metaphysical questions such as the ∞ or the partition of man in soul and body are ridiculed

It follows also that Buddhism rejects authoritarian power and any static standardized view, as it is a ‘vehicle’ for dynamic action to live a full entangled life that would make the passing to non-exist¡ence (Nirvana) the natural goal of fusioning with the vital energy/information of the larger non-ego whole.

Multiple insights into the game happen in ‘detail’, so we cannot be exhaustive.

To notice in common with Christianity the understanding of trinity in scale; whereas the ∆+1 father, ∆0 word-network-message, ∆-1 prophet, become the ‘community’, the ‘message’ and the ‘Buddha’, the 3 Jewels; while the 3 temptations of animetal power that assailed Jesus become the 3 temptations of power transmuted into evil metal (wealth: go(l)d, power: war/weapons, magic: technological science)…

The sophisticated description of the Game of exist¡ence in Buddhism.

Buddhism understands the cyclical, vital, infinite Universe as mystical Hinduism and Taoism did before: reality is a constant series of temporal causal effects without beginning or end as origin, duration, destruction succeed in recurrent cyclical change. The ternary scale of animist, shamanist cultures is also carried out, in 3 planes of exist¡ence: the mind plane (arupadhatu), the material plane of existence in harmony (Rupadhatu) and the negative plane of passions (kamadhatu) where unenlightened humans live.

Rebirth according to Karman connects into a continuum the cycles of life making the whole immortal but not the ego, in a true insight on the process of death, we have analyzed in other papers, as it means a ‘travel to the past’, through the ‘Karman’ (review in 3 days at accelerated speed of the life we have lived till the end of the ego and rebirth into the lower plane of cellular/insect life). As one myth explains, in Hinduism, Vishnu observes a group of ambitious Indras, kings of kings reborn as a line of ants… admonishing an Indra who keeps building palaces with infinite rooms, making the architect despair.

As reason overpowers myth, Buddhism admits the positive elements of science as long as do not CONFLICT with the immanent ethic, survival laws of Nature. To notice then that all beings have souls and 5 living species are considered, with Godly creatures and evil men in both extremes (with good men and animals in the middle). So most evil men are below animal life by virtue of its unlimited animetal ‘desires’ (greed, power-violence, etc). Only when man has empathy (Mettā), he can rise above animal life; for which anātman (lack of ātman=ego) is again the pivotal point and right eightfold way.

As nothing is permanent, and it bears witness to the extreme love for truth of Mr. Gautama that he wouldn’t make any concession to the gallery, (the passions of eternity of ego) with its theory of the 5 always 5 aggregates (skandhas) of human exist¡ence as an entangled mind-body: spatial corporeality (Rūpa), temporal feelings (vendanā), which make the body (ST) in a single plane, and the 3 ‘scalar components’ of the mind from ‘inward thoughts’ (samjñā), ¡-1, to disposition/action, samskāra, ¡o, to entangled consciousness through the 3rd eye that connects you with the ¡+1 whole; none of which is the ego, as indeed the mind-ego is a modular ST>S consciousness of the body-head, wave-particle as a while. It is in that consciousness where the human can unite with the Great Self – Buddha consciousness of the whole to be a better man.

The ST symmetries of Buddhism. And all other religions.

As always in all systems of thought, mirror of the life and death worldcycle of the supœrganisms they express, we can use the same pentalogic elements to study any mental religion of the Universe, in its life and decay. The history of Buddhism then can be considered for each civilization of the 8 cycles of History, and we will briefly consider some aspects of them when studying the different 7 cultures of mankind passing through those cycles. Buddhism ‘3 fundamental ages’ would be the coin age or youth of the culture or age of the prophet, which correspond to the Indian civilizations; in which Buddhism flourished, with its 3 sub-ages the Age of Buddha, or age of birth, the age of reproduction, with the Indian Asoka empire at its height and its 3rd and death age of decadent, sophisticated information, in the Gupta empire, prior to its death as the soul of India with the stirrup cycle and the alliance of Rajputas and Muslim conquerors that destroyed it, leaving remains in Ceylon (island isolation) and the Himalayans (mountain isolation). So iron killed Buddhism, but as all universal religions it would re-emerge in the next cycle (cavalry), in China, becoming the fundamental culture of the Asian civilization, absorbing influences of earlier Universal Mind’s religions (Taoism, Shinto, Shamanism, Confucian religions). And again it will live 3 ages, of rebirth with the Chinese and Japanese scholars that brought it to Asia, maturity and reproduction, as it converted the stirrup barbarians, reaching its zenith with the T’ang dynasty. But as all religions of love in an animetal world, will suffer the pressure of stirrup invaders, against which the development of ‘human-body’ based martial arts could do little. So the decadence of the Tang will finally brought down Buddhism, and the new gunpowder age would see new animetal hordes destroying temples and laminating Buddhist influence from China through Japan, which after its wars of unification will destroy the power of Buddhism.

The gunpowder age thus will see the decadence and death of the religion as a global mental power influencing the networks of society and creating a subconscious collective God.

Accordingly the symmetry of space of those 3 ages in time of Buddhism gives birth to 3 different ‘decaying’ types of Buddhism, of lesser purity in the message of the wor(l)d prophet… The original Theravāda (way of the elders), in the first cycle, still dominant in South Asia and Ceylon; the Mahāyāna, dominant in Asia, during the mature cycle, which will relax the harsh truths of no rebirth of the ego, laws against images to preserve the natural network of the humankind, the wor(l)d in its purity and against the cult to Buddha, just a ‘vehicle’ for verbal truths.

Finally in the present 3rd age of Buddhism, the more baroque, decadent mythic form of Magic, tantric Buddhism, which disconnects from the temporal world either inward (tantra) or to the regions above and below, with emphasis in the evil rule and the extinction=death process becomes dominant (Tibetan Buddhism, Lama’s rebirth myths, etc.)

It must be noticed that the 3 ages of all subconscious collective Gods of 800 x 3 age young, prophetic; pure, mature, illogic mystical connecting with the ¡+1 game of exist¡ence in its highest form; reproductive, sensorial, human, connecting with the common people through ‘saints’, ‘gurus’, ‘Sufis’ and Buddha’s reincarnations and the final 3rd decaying age of corrupted religions or angst, inquisitions trying to elongate the life of the God sustained by fewer citizens-cells repeats for all the great religions of mankind. To finally rest in peace, with few true believers and unable to control beyond a few remnant nations the relentless destruction of life by the animetal cult(ure)s that keep progressing and evolving its memes.

Reason why all of the classic religions of mankind in the digital era have become paralyzed into a suspended, ‘death’ state, save the last of them, Islam, which is now in its 3rd inquisitorial age, after its birth and prophetic age (stirrup cycle), its reproductive, human sensorial age focused in the Sufi saint’s movement and popular folk, to finally descend into the inquisition and fight for survival in the digital era, as indeed Mohammed would be the last of the prophets of human religions. Let us then study the anthropomorphic religions that tried to convert the animetals of go(l)d cult(ure)s back to the fold of mankind.

2ND LIFE: MAHAYANA BUDDHISM:1ST MILLENNIUM).

The second age of any religion, or ‘lanwave of exist¡ence’ to use the formal jargon of existential logic – a wave of    ‘non-E points’ following a language the structures them into organic networks –consists in the ‘reproduction’ of the seed-particle-prophet state into multiple lesser ‘prophets’ that develop variations on the same theme and relax the ‘truth’ of the Master to satisfy the happy ego of its believers.

This is the essence of Mahayana Buddhism that follows the canonical 2nd Life of a Human God, perhaps tired of trying to teach pure entanglement with the laws of the fractal organic Universe. In the graph, the path of expansion of Buddhism which arrived to ‘Asia’, the Mongoloid civilization (Buddha might have been mongoloid from Nepal), through the caravan routes of the silk road, and the trading routes of the Indian ocean. Traders ‘trade’ with ideas. So Mayahana became a more ‘a la carte’ mythical form, with the usual ‘visual enhancements’ of cult:

-Statues of Buddha were permitted and multiplied as ‘icon figures’ multiplied in Christianity, breaking the mandate of the wor(l)d as the only pure human logic language of time, of ALL religions. Only Islam will survive with its ‘warrior, inquisitorial, non-frills attitude’ this relaxation of doctrine.

– Immortality, which is of the whole superorganism of History, NOT of the individual, is now accepted through the transmigration of souls and the Karma, taken from Hinduism.

– Every human can be a Buddha, enlightened. This is the key element of all second Lives of Humanist religions, in principle positive for the spread of human eusocial behavior, as the ‘canon of the ideal Platonic cave’ becomes the role model of its followers. But in the 2nd age it crosses the red thin line of a possible heresy and ego-centered believer that splits the religion with gold and iron corruption. In Islam reinvigorates with the Sufi movement the religion; in Christianity with the Saints and monastic movement; in Taoism with the individual search for the perfect man; in the socialist movement with the strict moral code and life sacrifice of r=evolutionaries; in Buddhism with the search for the Buddha within us. In this manner from a hierarchical particle state, the seed of mental memes of the prophet becomes a wave of thought.

– It follows then that any skillful man of the wor(l)d can write on doctrine, and here is where the thin red line with heresy and ‘divide and win’ appears more often. So schools of Buddhism spread thanks to the writings, called Sutras. But as the religion is one of extreme perfection and humility in its entanglement with the Universe, the outcome is still within the limits of doctrine – unlike the ego-centered Jewish>Christian religion of ‘chosen of God’ where the self-proclaimed Christ as God, we already explained with the mystery of trinity solved, however will bring many arguments, on the relationship between the individual, the saint-prophet-son of god, the language-network, the saint spirit, and the father-whole, the subconscious collective.

2 new texts will be essential to relax the doctrine, the Ugraparipṛccha Sūtra where we learn that through the rigorous emulation of Gautama Buddha we can become a bodhisattva – a fully enlightened Buddha. And the Lotus Buddha, by far the most popular. The difference being the increasing relaxation of the chances to become a bodishatva. The first sutra promotes the bodhisattva ideal as a difficult, strictly monastic path, taking thousands of lifetimes to complete and suited only for the few.

In the Lotus Sūtra, the Buddha’s compassion and wish to save all beings led him to adapt the teaching to suit many different kinds of people. The One Vehicle doctrine defines the enlightenment of a Buddha (anuttara samyak sambhodi) as the ultimate goal and the sutra predicts that all those who hear the Dharma will eventually achieve this goal. The idea that the physical death of a Buddha is the termination of that Buddha is refuted as Buddhas are ultimately immortal. And so there is an infinite stream of Buddhas extending infinitely in space in unquantifiable eons of time. Since Buddha has many embodiments or emanations and these are the countless bodhisattva disciples. These bodhisattvas choose to remain in the world to save all beings and to keep the teaching alive.

From here to accept that we are all ‘super-heroes’ and we all ‘talk to God’, there is only one small step, which once crossed makes the doctrine amenable to everyone.

The same steps happen in Christianity when Luther proclaim all can talk to God reading his books, starting the explosion of the press Industry of new prophets rewriting the dogma of Christianity. Still there are 2 clear differences with the easiness of the corruption of Christianity:

– The egocy of Judaism as the superior race which is transfer to Christ as God and its heretic protestant preachers that not only try to become as important as Christ, but often amend his doctrine of love and charity – the pillars of any religion trying to create a higher plane of existence. This egocy and anti-humanism, is absent in humble Buddhism, where the authors of the Sutras do NOT care to promote themselves. We are still within doctrine in the second reproductive age – unlike reformation, which is the 3rd age of Christianity when the anti-Christs kill the religion transforming it into a mascara, in fact, a series of sects of Judaism, the segregation anti-humanist religion of Go(l)d Jesus came to purify.

Dating: once more an almost exact T=800 years period with T/2 maximal standing point.

The earliest textual evidence of “Mahāyāna” comes from sūtras originating around the beginning of the common era, in the 3rd age of the 1st Life of Buddha, which as always superposes the birth of its second life. However there is a Mahāyāna’s “virtual invisibility in the archaeological record until the fifth century.” Walser. Thus for the birth age of Mahayana, again we find it close to the T/2 point of the coin cycle; parallel to the birth of Christianity in the Roman western parallel culture; while its expansion will be 800 years after the birth of therevada. So its reproductive expansive age starts when the 1st life of Buddhism disappears…

Expansion of Mahayana to Asia – The Chinese case sample.

It must be said in defense of Mahayana that without this relaxation of the doctrine, it would have collapse in India under warrior attack and probably disappeared. But as it expanded both its capacity to absorb other doctrines, still within a moral code of empathy, charity and love – not without the cynical, everything is OK as long as you accept our castes, attitude of Hinduism with its morally corrupted Gods – it expanded the ultimate principles of all religions, whose purpose is eusocial love, even if it uses myths and hopes of immortality.

Thus Buddhism could reach other cultures and successfully include the positive elements of them invigorating them. Thus in China, the cult to ancestors, which the Shang created to justify aristocratic heredity now becomes a loving function of respect for the elderly. And the monastic Taoist movement merges with Buddhism loosing part of its magic and sexual excesses; adding to the objective realist S=T structure of the Chinese language, with the richness and creativity of its translations, a metaphysical dimension that it lacked – in the same manner Taoism had added its poetic, free capacity to ‘imagine’. It will mean the expansion of Buddhism as a force of civilization through the entire Asian culture, taming the brutality of the Nomadic waves of warriors during the stirrup cycle, with far more efficient means than Christianity trying to convert the Germanic and Jewish alliance of military men and slave traders – the first never truly accepted non-violence, the 2nd who had not converted to earlier Christianity now invigorated with the racist memes of Talmud against the human capital they traded with – slave women, eunuch children, debt slaves – just became a pure go(l)d culture that only would convert partially back to humanity with the socialist movement, also ‘in extremis’ under the obvious menace and final realization of the ‘capitalist’ Holocaust (European World war s ending in the Gotterdammerung of its warrior and trader castes).

Buddhism though felt on the Mongoloid, informative, organic Brachicephalic far more ‘humane’ Asian culture and so it could exercise a far more positive influence on the Northern warrior sub-culture, and when imposed in the middle ages of chivalry Chinese cycle – the Tang era, cemented and raised the stakes of morality of the native Taoist and Confucian doctrines; becoming complementary to the focus of Chinese religions o the social organisms.

Buddhism offered redemption to the dislocated society of Middle Ages China despite its content, so alien to the objective dry view of the Existential game of Taoism and the conservative classist placebo truths of Confucius because of its capacity to ‘entangle’ the ¬∆@st elements of Universal superorganisms, less explored in Chinese culture, with its excellent mirror of the vital, organic Universe: the nirvana doctrine, parallel to ¬Entropy; the atman doctrine of ∞ souls, mirroring the @-elements of the Universe and its stress on poverty and rejection of material wealth that connected it with Taoism. While Taoism will provide the ∆-scalar concept of disomorphism between microcosms and macrocosms and Confucianism its stress on the ‘ethic design of the legal, political and economic, reproductive elements of the Chinese social organism.

It was precisely the competition of Buddhism, which raised the stakes of the other two religions, especially Confucianism, which will have to match the charity and equality ideals of Buddhism, hardened in its fight against the caste system. Thus with the arrival of Buddhism Confucian scholars abandoned its most extreme classist view on society and the rivalry of both cults resulted in a positive improvement on the life of its people.

So the Confucians for the first time in human history, past the Neolithic age, established for a whole civilization the ideal of material equality through the distribution of land to all peasants. So in the Chinese Middle Ages the dominant ideology becomes the “equal distribution of the earth» (ch’ün-t’ien) that dominates legislation on the basis of an increase of production (and taxation for the emperors served by Confucian masters). While Buddhist monasteries became receptors of large donations where the treatment of peasants as those of European Christian monasteries was far more humane than the states of aristocrats, with minimal taxation and social care.

Distribution of land and a milder tax treatment would then be necessary to avoid peasants to join monasteries that offered a better treatment.

A tendency also followed on the growing number of functionaries that accessed land property, whose slaves and tenants were no longer subject to usury tax and personal services as those of the landed aristocracy everywhere, from Spain to Korea.

The beginnings of the missionary movement correspond to an era in which Confucianism had lost its attraction for the intellectual class, playing with Taoist metaphysics, which prepared the ground for the reception of Buddhism. They arrived following trade routes through central Asia with the merchants, establishing monasteries along the “silk road” – hence with the ‘variations’ all forms suffer in the ST-motion/wave state past the SS-particle seed form; which were further enhanced due to the difficulty of Sanskrit. As we have seen in ‘Linguistics’ there are no two languages with a more different morphological structure than Chinese and Sanskrit; also in semantic style – the metaphorical and poetic expressionism of Indian literature was completely unknown to the dry Chinese written language. So as translation is treason the canonical texts of Mahayana, got a new outlook, mostly borrowed for the similar freedom of style of Taoism but milder, more optimist philosophy. So the central concept of nirvana=extinction was initially expressed through the term wu-wei (“no-action”), while dharma (“doctrine, Universal law”), became Tao by then a ‘joker’ word for all ‘big meanings’, used as an equivalent expressions for bodhi (“enlightenment”) and yoga (“meditation”). While arhat, the last degree in the Buddhist path of personal redemption, became chen-jen – “the perfect man”) that Taoist adepts seeked, in his search of immortality, now brought about by the transmigration of souls through a positive Karma, the key ‘heresy’ of Mahayana that ensured a much larger audience, solving he problem of death –as Christianity had done for Jewish people who converted, since Judaism, a worldly power nationalist religion had nothing metaphysical and certainly no even a though on after life as the quintessential materialist view of the world. So when better translations were done, the fusion with local religions remained. But unlike Taoism Buddhism, higher intellectual finesse, first converted the upper class. And only gradually spread to all layers of the population, to humble peasants for its high ethic standings and charitable behavior; becoming through its monastic movement, as Christianity in the Middle age of Nomadic invasions the natural refuge housing hundreds of thousands of converted monks. The more ravaged the country was, the more they sought refuge in the monasteries most looking for Roof and free vegetarian meals.

Further on, barbarian monarchs, who had come the same Silk road route, as they relaxed in its 2nd age promoted the more familiar Buddhism, which they saw as a synthesis of superior cultural values – while the mixed Taoist-Buddhist priests resorted to magic old Taoist tricks promising princes strength, prosperity and power through prayers, rites and miraculous deeds. While monasteries remained centers of a spiritualized Life.

Thus as all religions, the second reproductive age split between a relaxed religiosity for the conquering class, and a spiritual retirement for those who wanted to keep the purity of the true entanglement with the power of love of the 5th Dimension. It remained though the eternal power since the age of Lugals in Mesopotamia, between the ‘rank’ of the military and the priesthood – as usually solved in favor of the military in the long term; even the more so in China, since unlike Europe where the military were the invaders of the Church world, the Buddhist monks were the new comers to the emperors and warlords territory. Nothing though more far away than a Chinese emperor from a Boddhitsava (: To ‘fill the gap’, thus an iconoclastic movement of Buddha images ensued to establish by similarity the respect for monks which Theravada represented as ‘life images of the enlightened Buddha’. So as the movement of icons of Saints, images of the Christ, ‘role model’, or perfect human, which actually DO have stientific bases in the permanent repetitive game of existence of the fractal universe – with its modeling of reality as a series of perfect S=T balanced forms, ‘frozen designs of the game of existence, repeated in infinite similar histories… Sort of a model of parallel Universes all existing as local worlds in this fractal single cosmos. So temples transformed rock walls into statues of colossal dimensions to impress the ‘lineal warrior function’ that worships ‘size in space’ over ‘cyclical time form’. Yet once more was an egoless improvement over the God-warriors of the first animetal bronze radiations with its Huge Tombs and life sacrifices, from the Egyptian pyramids to the Shang dynasty. So Chinese art was transformed and enriched decisively by Buddhist constructions and religious sculpture. It only remained the assimilation of family worship alien to the Buddhist redemptive religion focused on the individual extinction and ch’u-chia “leaving the family”.

Alas! An imaginative sutra solved the problem: Monks prayed for the salvation of souls so in Buddhist terms, they prayed to relive the dead ancestors and make them happily enter nirvana. So many images of saints and Buddhas hold inscriptions with donor names and those of their deceased relatives – as Nirvana now was often viewed as Karma reincarnation.

Finally when Buddhism reached a large part of the population both in the North South the universal ethic of Buddhism, which was not linked to a national group, nation or class determined, helped the reunification of China under a single Sui government; achieving the goal that Christianity could not reach in Europe, natural to all eusocial religious r=evolutions, the end of internecine wars, as we all humans are cells of a global civilization NOT a nation, and as such integrant parts of one of the 7 Geographical pegged organs of Gaia, the planet of life, body of the collective loving mind of mankind – our whole.

And so throughout the Tang period, till new barbarians ad portas made impossible to sustain a ‘land without evil’ with millions living on monasteries’ China lived its ethic age of eusocial love unparalleled in the west due to the shortcomings of egocy, entropy and heresy embedded in the complex mix of victimism and arrogance proper of Jewish cultures even in its purified Christian version.

The economic repercussions of Buddhism was also positive. Monasteries became shopping centers, and Hotels for caravan Merchants and monks made loans on merchandise deposited in the monasteries, thus assuming functions of banking without parasitic usury; opened credits and made auctions and charity lotteries. While donations promoted the wealth of many monasteries that favored the welfare of the people, in a move similar to the ‘humanist, middle age’ of Gothic wealthy monasteries, ended with the reformation and grabbing of church land today ‘sold’ as progress by our Academia capitalist masters, but main cause of a massive degradation and new industrial exploitation of western people that fled to the colonies or the cities to become slum proletariat as white slaves of stockratic factories. Naturally, agriculture was also practiced in rich monasteries; as tenants cultivated the land. AS Many farmers preferred benefit from asylum in the life of the monasteries, to deal with the exploitation they were subject by the insatiable tax of authorities. Since, the tenants of monasteries were not obliged to pay tribute or to provide personal service.

While poor monks joined Taoist sects, to lead local popular uprisings against exploitation, on the religious foundation of the belief in Maitreya, the Buddha of an age to come, whose appearance was expected an era of peace and justice.

Among the courtly priests of the Toba and the rural mendicant monk mediated an abyss, not much different than among a bishop prince and a rural parish priest solidarious to the peasants, but far less extreme than between a warrior aristocrat or Jewish usurer and its servants and debt slaves taxed to death – as a Samurai would say, the peasant is like soya, the last squeeze is the most tasty. As Ricardo would say, workers can drop to death with salaries below the subsistence level because we can put a machine in its place.

Finally thanks to Buddhism, Chinese culture expanded its geographical horizon and lessened its cultural ethnocentrism. As Buddhism came from West Asia and India so monks replaced with his trips generals and his military expeditions, lessening friction in the east, Tarim basin and beyond, with the Buddhist monarchies of Afghanistan. While Chinese pilgrims traveled to the centers of Buddhist scholarship in India. The most famous of those pilgrims was Fa-hsien of Shansi who undertook in 399 a long trip to India, returning to China by sea, passing through Ceylon and Java. He wrote a work entitled «Report on Buddhist countries» (Fo-kuo-cbi), that regardless of its religious importance, has become a source of invaluable importance to modern anthropology given the lack of written dry, objective Hindi historiography which as all Animetal cultures, still dominated by the hagiographic tradition, cannot be trusted, as Judaism with its up and down mixture of arrogance and victimism to know even the A)ccurate data first element of bio-history as a science.

In ancient India there was no realistic literature dedicated to the knowledge of the country. So without Fa-hsien and subsequent pilgrims that followed in their footsteps, our information on India and Central Asia of that time will be as poor and distorted as the official version of Judaism & capitalism today commonplace thanks to the Industry of the Holocaust and the ‘scholar inquisition’ of the JAM culture.

But all happy times in History come to an end with new barbarians that refuse to convert and require higher taxes and warriors to defend the borders and an end to peaceful happy life. So as Middle Age China suffered new invasions, as Christian Rome, it felt the lack of taxation and peaceful Buddhist devotion jeopardize the T’ang empire.

The 3rd age of the Mayahana middle 800 years cycle of Buddhism in China.

So it came the 3rd age of Mahayana, proper of the 3×3±¡ canonical ages of Human Gods (birth of the prophet: -i: 1st cycle with 3 ages of purity in the religion, 2nd age with 3 cycles of reproduction, 3rd decadent age with angst, excess of form, and diminution of believers, with its final slow -¡ death of multiple smallish sects and null social power).

The T’ang government struck against all this rise of religious life, which spread faith in all social classes and regions turning against Buddhism in the ninth century. A series of laws promulgated between the years 842 and 845 ordered the closure of thousands of monasteries and forcible conversion of hundreds of thousands monks to the lay condition. This chase also reached Taoism, which had come closer in doctrine, an practice Buddhism. The reason of these acts was both ideological, to return the control of the Chinese people to animetal power with secularization and economical, to tax-farm them. The e3xcuse was as usual military nationalism – the borders were restless again and more soldiers and weapons need to be produced. Even if the edicts did not save the dynasty of their own downfall, precisely at the hands of its military warlords.
It would close the highest point of the wor(l)d in Asia, brought about by the fertile fusion of freedoms and ethic mystical entanglement of the merging of Taoism and Buddhism, expressed in the work of its poets.

The Ch’üan T’ang-shih anthology (Poems of the T’ang era) mentions at least 2,200 different authors; with the highest geniuses of Chinese classic poetry, among them To these belongs Li T’ai-po, – a bohemian inconformist, whose expressionist hyperbolic poems show the wu-wei tradition (he tried the Tao way in his youth), lyric of Nature, filled with fantasies under the influence, strange and innovative in form and content. His contemporary Tu Fu represents the Confucian socially committed, other side of Chinese Intellectualism, working in the administrative service his formally impeccable poems expresses the pain and compassion that a sensitive man should be experience in the face of political catastrophe… as Tang militarism sinks the ideal of the ethic society.

Poems become simplified spiritual in form, with verses of the same length (shih), of five to seven words each, arranged in stanzas of Four verses (chüeh-chü), resembling the epigram, under the stylistic ideal of brevitas loquendi, which will reach its height in the Japanese Haiku of 17 syllables – ultimately a reaction to the ritual formalism and grandiloquence of the aristocratic imperial eras. Also freer poetic song with verses of unequal length based on a melody and veiled eroticism first by professional musicians, then by educated, skilled courtesans will anticipate the Japanese Geishas.

The prose of the T’ang got read of the highly artificial literature of the previous centuries with a precise style in laconic works (ku-wen) that influenced the administration clerical work on essays and requests submitted to the throne, letters and dissertations that removed verbal displays, for a clear rational formulation of the propositions which constitute the objective of the authors. This world of rational humanist religion and social justice, with cities filled of Buddhist pagodas dominating the landscape and silhouette of the cities; thus came to an end. So Buddhism slides into its 3rd age.

THE 3RD LIFE: TIBETAN BUDDHISM. ICONOCLASTIA – THE PRESS

The 3rd life of Buddhism (II millennia) thus was a slow decay, with different speeds according to fractal geography, accelerated when gunpowder gave military, political rulers a higher power over the monks who had only his new ‘body-control’ martial arts, invented on monasteries, but unable to survive the sword and musket.

Thus when after the tang dissolution of convents, made Buddhism loose its dominant position in Asian political culture; and a similar process happened in all societies, the more so pronounced with the arrival of gunpowder that gave definitely the temporal power to kings – which systematically sided Buddhism and its monks from power and taxed or expropriated its lands, as it happened in Korea and Japan at the beginning of the Edo power – a true living religious society where the messages of eusocial love of the religion are powerful enough to define the physiological of the economic and political networks – will only be conserved in Tibet.

To this decline on the purity of the wor(l)d, which however granted further extension of the religion, contributed, the invention of the wood press.

The positive age of the press expand Buddhism.

Despite European anthropocentrism it has to be noticed that the Press did have a pre-humanist age before Metal multiplied its efficiency, which was instrumental to spread Buddhism in Asia.

Since its invention dates back to the eighth century (the oldest printed book in the world

it carries a imprint of the year 868). T’ang’s printing press, was born from the technique of extracting impressions of stone inscriptions to make carved wooden plates and replicate the inscriptions with ink stamped on paper. Thus Buddhist monks became its main users, spreading the art of print from China to Korea and Japan, and later, following Buddhism, also Tibet and = central Asia.

As usual we find the ‘human-life oriented’ age of any technique has more positive influence including arts – so wood and string music is much richer and adapt better to the ear than techno-repetitive computer sounds that have devolved the art.

The printing of images thus degraded the Buddha wor(l)d but spread it on less civilized regions – Japan, Tibet, whose Magic, Tantra Buddhism became the expression of the 3rd ‘inward old age phase’ of Buddhism.

The old age of a religion has always similar phase:

It is more concerned with death; it is a conservative, inquisition phase; it brings magic and other irrational distortions of the true radiant message of the prophet – the last reproduction cycles of any species commit errors of forms – it is thus more fond of baroque, evil, excessively formal art, and it diminishes its believers. Finally it survives in regions where it arrived first, collapsing back in retreat

Which is again the usual trinity lives of a God of mankind, the first age of the pure prophet of the wor(l)d, the second age mildly corrupted by go(l)d, the 3rd age of inquisitions often of warrior nature, carried by new conversions that soften its military power with the religion, however in decline on its spirit that has lost social control and will then remain a placebo structure to appease the angst of death of the individual, or in the worst cases, a sheep skin to camouflage the animetal warrior and financial parasites in power, for easier control of the population.

This would definitely corrupt the ‘priests at court’ that now back openly power, and only the poor priests of the 90% will remain true to the eusocial love doctrine. It will be the case of Buddhist priests in the gunpowder age in the martial courts of Korea, Japan and Siam; of the catholic priests in the Latin-European kingdoms; of the Jewish-Protestant priests in the go(l)d cultures of Anglo-America… the most corrupted of them all, as they will also with its racist memes, ask for the extinction of the poor, conquered people of the American colonies.

But in the 3 eusocial love global religions, Islam, Christianity (catholic and orthodox churches) and Buddhism, a priesthood dedicated to alleviate the suffering of the 90% remained even after the ‘church’ as a living organism with temporal control on the physiological networks of society – our definition of the death of a god which must be not a ‘seed kept in texts’ but unfold to shape society and its physiological networks – has perished.

Tibetan Buddhism.

In Tibet to maintain its worldly power and capacity to shape society, Buddhism acquires s a more strict hierarchical form which finally give the Dalai Lama not only spiritual but worldly power. And as a humanist, wor(l)d based organism will survive thanks to the insular nature of Tibet till the digital era (Chinese economic and political invasion of Tibet during the age of mental machines).

Tibetan Buddhism will be also more focused in death – the book of death is the main work of its ‘old school’ – “Nyingma” literally means “ancient.” It is the current of Magic Buddhism (Tantrism) in which paper images are endowed with miraculous or magical strength, and so are verbal formulas of magical effects (dharanl). In Japan both currents will also become dominant – Zen Buddhism adopted by the samurai warrior caste and tantra under the name of Shingon.

So those properties of a declining organism in its 3rd age now will become the trade mark of the Buddhism of ‘warrior’ societies, satellites of the central trade-oriented china.

In fact Tibetan Buddhism will convert the Yuan-Mongol dynasty, as all mass-murderer warriors carry their evil demons, which now the printed images with Buddhas on top should work its magic to reduce them, and protect the soul of the warrior. Thus religion superstitions become the only way to access, the declining ethics and intelligence of the barbarians ‘ad portas’. Only in the south, Ceylon, Indochina, the purity of Buddhism subsisted longer.

While the so much praised Japanese Zen is mostly an inquisitional form related to nirvana and the Bushido code, in the path of the Gita – that is, the acceptance of destiny and the immoral art of war without questions. Extinction thus change from liberation and entanglement with the whole, dissolving the ego, to the pure act of death without spirituality, proper of war as the quiet mystical life of Buddhist enlightenment dissolves in the gunpowder age into a ghost of what once was the ethic time of man.

Because the concept of Nirvana ill-understood refers only to pure extinction, Buddhism has regained importance today in California, the birth of the metal-earth and its robotic humans and chipped robots as the idea of immortality of man entangled with nature fades away – the last immortal fade in Silicon valley being to cut your head and put it in nitrogen hoping the selfish humans or likely robots of the future, care to spend time and money reviving you; or the ‘interfaces’ between human and machine of techno-utopians that expect to live longer as if company-mothers of robots that will keep reproducing them and extinguishing all forms of life in the struggle for vital space, would care for his hybrid brothers – not to talk of the apps to gather meaningless data on your caloric consumption, heart rate or number of steps on your jogging exercise.
